The Boilermaker 2010 race is a record breaking event participated by more than 13,000-participants came from different nationality, a historical thing now to consider that happened in Utica's street and there are about 11,000-runners noted to finished the entire course. Lelisa Desisa earned the first place in men's category from Ethiopia and the Kenyan's Edna Kiplagat for the women.
According to report, the starting line set a new record for the number of participants and the most of the old record has been broken even on the number of runners who finished and complete the rest of the road test. Although there are about 100-folks who are reportedly stuck while on their way, most of them are treated by medical team committee with a heat-related problem and there is no serious problem arises from their total number.
