Helen Thomas, Announced Her Retirement

Helen Thomas is one of White House watch dog which recently announced that she was retiring from her position as the top columnist of press working in U.S. presidents office. For about 57-years, she served as the Bureau Chief of the country's top leaders since the time of Pres. John F. Kennedy. And now that she is about to leave her office, who will be the next columnist to replace and serve the upcoming era of new upcoming and current leader of the whole state?

During the Iraq war, Helen Thomas is the only woman and media personality to asked Pres. Bush for the consequences because of the press freedom. Other than this, she also pointed out some issue in regards with the former president controversial moves while in the office.

Thomas is one of symbolic leader in media and she was even appointed as the first female correspondent of National Press Club and the first woman to be called White House Correspondents Association as well Gridiron Club way back in 1998.
