Emmitt Smith extend his apology to Gator Nation next to his appearances in NBC's interview with Al Michaels. According to him, he able to deliver his speech without a piece of notes that is why he could not totally remember those other important folks that became a part of his success in football. In his Twitter account, he actually mentioned those people who's been around of him at the peak of his career.
However, the short time of his speech after receiving his award might be a certain reason why he doesn't immediately remember the Gator Nation and to his followers in Florida. He's been a good inspiration to anyone and somehow, nobody tried to make a further comments with his few words of courages thing given to the national audience.
