Jennifer Strange: Water Intoxication

It happened in a radio show contest when a Californian woman died after the contest "Hold you Wee for a Wii". The rule of the contest is to drink a 225 ml of water in every 15 minutes span of time without going to bathroom to wee. And sad to say, at the eight round, they need to drink a half-bottle of water. It happened last January 2007 when Jennifer Strange died with an acute water intoxication.

Water intoxication happens when the normal of body electrolytes altered by a rapid intake of water. Sad to say, Jennifer Strange still lose the contest and lose her life. She's in her 28th when this thing happens to her. According to medical study, water intoxication can even cause the brain to swell and stopped some of its vital functions, it can even stopped your breath and can led to death.

Right now, the verdict of this case has been issued by the court which they'd found KDND-FM and the owner liable for the death of Jennifer Strange. Right now, the family of Jennifer will received a $16 million in a lawsuit.
